Dear Families,

Our first full week of in person learning for the 2021-2022 school year was successful! It was so great to be able to see everyone in person again! Students were excited, staff was excited and the energy was high!

Here are a few reminders as we move successfully into the school year.

1. Students must be in uniform: Light blue tops, navy bottoms. The uniform does not need to have a logo. However, students can still wear clothing that has the Seven Hills logo on it. Classrooms have air conditioners and can be on the cooler side. Students can only wear a solid dark blue (navy) uniform sweater or zip up without a hood.

2. If you are not signed up for class dojo, please let your child’s homeroom teacher know. This is a main source of communication for families!

Enjoy the long weekend and we will see you on Tuesday! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Sincerely,

Bri Padden

Lower Academy Head of School K-3

Tina DeVito

Upper Academy Head of School 4-8

Morning Arrival Reminder: The Eastern Ave. doors open at 7:30 am for parent drop-off and bus arrival. Students will be marked tardy after 8:00 am.

Afternoon Dismissal Reminder: Early dismissal from the main office must be before 3:00 pm. All buses will leave the school first. Parent pick-up will begin immediately following bus departure approximately 3:40 pm until 4:00 pm.

Bus Registration for the 2021-2022 School Year:  This year we are using AA Transportation. In order to create the most efficient bus routes, all students must be registered. Please go to learningfirstcharter.org/busregistration .

All applications that were received after the 8/4/2021 deadline have been given to the bus company. They will update the bus routes based on the addresses listed on the applications and any bus stop change requests that they deem reasonable.  The main office will inform families when the update routes will begin. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the main office at (508) 799-7500 and press “8” or email Sally Ustaitis, sustaitis@learningfirstcharter.org.

Lottery Applications for the 2022-2023 School Year are available online at https://learningfirstcharter.org/admission/ . All applicants must be five years old by August 31, 2022 to be placed in the lottery.  All applications require a birth certificate and two proofs of address. The application deadline is March 2, 2022. Reminder, a new application must be completed for any child that is on the current waitlist.
