Dear Families,

Lottery Applications for the 2022-2023 School Year are now available! If you have a child or sibling that will turn five years old by August 31, 2022 please complete the attached form and return to the main office or go online at https://learningfirstcharter.org/admission/ .

The application deadline is March 2, 2022. All applications require a birth certificate and two proofs of address. Reminder, a new application must be completed for any child that is on the current waitlist.

Student Arrival: The doors on Eastern Avenue open promptly at 7:30am.  Students are not allowed to be dropped off prior to this time. There is no supervision for students.

Bus Registration for the 2021-2022 School Year:  All students who registered August 5th through September 2nd have been added to the updated bus registration list. They have also tried to fulfill any stop change request that they received. Updated bus routes start on Monday, September 13th. Please review the bus route list that was sent home yesterday or go online to https://learningfirstcharter.org/bus-schedule to review any stops added or changed and any time changes. Please contact the Main Office if you have any questions (508) 799-7500 press “8” for the office.

Message from the Nurse:  Welcome back families!  We hope you had a relaxing summer!  We are looking forward to having everyone back in school this year.  We are asking that everyone please send in a physical form for each child as soon as possible.  Stay healthy, Nurse Sarah and Sammi

 Guidance: Parents: Do you need a backpack for your child? We have lots available!! Please contact one of our school counselors Heather Burgess @ x1066 or email hburgess@learningfirstcharter.org or Lisa Moore @ x1112 or email lmoore@learningfirstcharter.org and we can send one home with your child!

Grade 8 Families: Hello 8th grade families! I can’t wait to get to work with all of you and your children in planning their next steps after graduation! Believe it or not, it’s going to be here fast and high schools are already preparing for your soon to be freshman!! I will be including information in the newsletters, through emails, and dojo messages for you all year long. So please make sure you are checking in all of these places and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. I will be sending out both written materials and videos for you to prepare you for your transition to high school. I am happy to make appointments with you now that we can meet in person and you can always call or we can set up virtual meetings as well.

Community Connections:  Does your child love to sing? Worcester Children’s Chorus is schedule in-person auditions for youths ages 8-18. Please go to worcesterchildrenschorus.org to make an appointment.
