Grade 8 Families: This will be the first of MANY notifications that you will get about upcoming events for high school! It seems very early in the year to be thinking about it, but I assure you, it is not 🙂
Usually every October we have a high school night for 8th graders to meet with representatives from the local high schools to be able to see what all of their options are. Due to the pandemic this year, everything will, most likely, have to be virtual, but I will still get you all of the information that you need.
Right now I am working on a comprehensive presentation for all of you on the entire transition to high school process which I hope to have ready for you in the next couple of weeks that you can watch along with your child.
The students have already had an introduction to it in 7th grade and we will be reviewing it in guidance class as there have been changes since last year.
Please be sure that you are checking your email so that you get these updates as I will be posting dates and deadlines as well (for applications, financial aid, and scholarships). This information was sent to all families email addresses, and emails are sent to families with the latest updates. Please make sure all of your email addresses are current with the school so that you can receive these updates in a timely manner. Thank you and I look forward to working with all of you this year! ~Lisa Moore
Thus far these are the only schools that have posted open houses for the fall. If your child is interested in any of these schools please go online and pre-register.

All Kindergarten, grade 3 and grade 7 students must have an updated physical and immunizations on file.
