Reminder: School Hours for the 2022-2023 school year will change to 7:30 AM- 2:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Reminders from the School Nurse: This week we had no cases of Covid-19 in our school. If your student was a close contact then you were notified by the school nurse. It is not required for your child to receive a Covid-19 vaccine, however if your child has had it and you are willing to let us know it would be appreciated and helpful in cases when we need to do contact tracing.

Extracurricular Activities: STOMP practice will be held on its usual Fridays from 12:30-3:30 PM and also on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00 PM starting March 8th until Tuesday, April 5th. Competition will be on Saturday April 9th @ Assumption College. More information will be available in the following weeks.
Community Connections: Worcester Center for Crafts is holding a FREE event for kids on Saturday, March 12th,titled “Give an Alien a Pinch”.Working with self-hardening clay you will learn the most basic clay forming technique, pinching! Once you have made a basic body form, you can add arms, legs and details to bring your alien to Life. This creation will not need firing (the process of bringing clay and glazes up to a high temperature) but you should allow it to rest for 24 hours. This item can go home with your child! The Center for Crafts is located at 25 Sagamore Rd, Worcester.
The annual Worcester St. Patrick’s Day Parade is back! Join Worcester on March 13th for the annual community celebration which features floats, bands, clowns, fire trucks, and other groups associated with Irish heritage and culture. The parade begins at the corner of Mill St. and Park Ave. at 12:00pm and finishes at the corner of Highland St. and Park Ave. (Elm Park).
The Worcester EcoTarium, located at 222 Harrington Way, Worcester, has an Amusement Park Science exhibit. Come and explore a dozen different interactive features that provide a hands-on taste of how our favorite amusement park rides work including great interactives like Bumper Blaster, Create-A Coaster, Wild Wheels Road Block, Magnetic Circus, and Wild Ride Video Kiosk. Admission for adults is $19; children under the age of two are $14. If you are an EBT or WIC cardholder you can have up to 4 family members enter at $4.00 per person.
Girls Inc. is offering Eurekia! Stem program for our grade 7 girls! This is a year-round, five-year STEM intensive program that engages and empowers girls as they develop confidence and discovers leadership and academic opportunities in STEM fields.
Girls Inc. of Worcester is inviting all 7th grade girls and their parents to learn more about their 5 year Eureka! Program.
