IMPORTANT REMINDER! The due date to have all lottery applications submitted is March 3rd!

 Lottery Applications for the 2021-2022 school year are available online at https://learningfirstcharter.org/admission. If your student has a younger sibling at home that will be five by August 31, 2021, please submit all applications before March 3, 2021 to get a slot for next year.  Also, please remember to complete a new application for any child that is on the current waitlist.

Hybrid student bus update: The Worcester Public School transportation company has informed us that they will be releasing student bus information to us by the end of this week or early next week. This information will include student bus routes/numbers, bus stop times (pick up and drop offs), and student seating assignments. We will be sure to get this information to you as soon as we have it so you can plan accordingly.  

Hybrid Model Cohorts

Cohort A: Grades 1, 3, 4, 7, 8

    Monday and Tuesday In-Person

             Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Remote 

(Start Date 3/15/2021)

Cohort B: Grades K, 2, 5, 6

    Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Remote

             Thursday and Friday In-Person

(Start Date 3/18/2021)

Wednesday is a half day for students

Friday is a full day of school 

*Schedules are subject to change due to Covid-19.

P-EBT Benefit Update: If you are switching to a hybrid model please note the funds issued monthly will be changing.   

Children enrolled in a hybrid learning model are eligible for $58.60 per month. 

Children enrolled in a fully remote learning model are eligible for $117.20 per month.

Student Support Department:  Throughout the school year our Student Support Team will be emailing electronic documents to parents labeled Frontline.  These documents are important for your perusal or signature.  Please be sure to read in entirety then submit electronically if needed.  If you have questions you may contact the Student Support AdminMs. Andino candino@learningfirstcharter.org or 508-312-6209. 

Grade 8 Families: This will be the last call for high school applications for 8th grade!

Private and Catholic Schools should all be in and you should be applying for financial aid.

Worcester Tech and Worcester Public Career and Tech Ed programs are due by March 1st. 

If you need assistance with any of them please reach out to Mrs. Moore.

You should hear from the Technical programs around April break. 

Community Connections:  

The Worcester Cares for Kids is offering a FREE Youth Babysitting Certificate and Training Program starting March 8th until April 2nd. It would be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30-5:30 PM.   In light of the health crisis this virtual babysitting training program was created to provide critical support to young children in our community and their parents during this time.
