Every five years, charter schools are required to renew their charter with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. In February of 2011, the LFCPS charter was renewed for another five year term, on a probationary basis contingent upon academic achievement outcomes.  In January of 2013, the DESE commended the school’s progress and removed the probationary status.  They will again monitor sustainability of progress in December of 2014.  We are looking for educators who firmly believe that all children are capable of high achievement and are committed to doing whatever it takes to meet the wide range of needs of diverse learners.
