Family Engagement Month (November) showed how much LFCPS is capable of as a community when we work together.

Below is a link to a quick survey for parents and families, your response will tell us (school leaders, teachers, and administrators) how we can continue to support you in and out of school, and offer you opportunities to get involved as well.

Reminders from the School Nurse: This week we have had 11 cases of Covid-19 in our school.  If your student was a close contact then you were notified by the school nurse. It is not required for your child to receive a Covid-19 vaccine, however if your child has had it and you are willing to let us know it would be appreciated and helpful in cases when we need to do contact tracing.

Stay healthy! ~Nurse Sarah and Sammi

Learning First Happenings:  The homerooms that were unable to attend our annual Holiday Bazaar last week, will be able to come down on Monday, December 13th.  This event allows our students an opportunity to purchase holidays gifts for their families.  All students are welcome to participate. Gifts will range from $1-$8, we accept cash or checks (no change will be given. If you write a check-they must spend the amount on the check). It’s very helpful if you give your child a list of names for which they will be purchasing gifts.

The year is going by so quick! We have now begun our second trimester. Student Learning Contracts (SLC’s) for our first trimester will go home next week. Please sign the envelope and return to the school with your child.
