Reminders from the School Nurse: This week we have had 5 cases of Covid-19 in our school.  If your student was a close contact then you were notified by the school nurse. It is not required for your child to receive a Covid-19 vaccine, however if your child has had it and you are willing to let us know it would be appreciated and helpful in cases when we need to do contact tracing.

Stay healthy! ~Nurse Sarah and Sammi

Guidance: The holidays are right around the corner! This can be both an exciting and stressful time for many of us. If any families need assistance over the holidays with providing gifts for your school aged children or food on the table at Thanksgiving, please reach out to our School Counselors. They are happy to assist you.

Each year we put our Giving Tree up in the main office with tags on them with a child’s wish. Our extremely generous staff will pull a tag and purchase the gift. If you would like for your child(ren) to be a part of the Giving Tree please contact Lisa Moore and provide the following information:

Child’s age, and 2-3 gift ideas around $25 each or things that the child likes if they have not expressed their wishes yet to you.

We will provide you with a bag of unwrapped gifts the week before we go on winter break.

You can reach Ms. Moore at 508-799-7500 x1112 or lmoore@learningfirstcharter.org. Email is best if you have access to it, that way you can send a short list of 2-3 items per child in your household.
